Zeal is an annual college fest that is conducted by our BHEM department at PES University and this was my first time being a part of the fest. The date was fixed for the fest and preparations began. All students put in hard work and effort to make the fest successful. The fest consisted of two categories: Shresta which was the technical section and Kreeda the sports section.
One could see a group of students huddled in some parts of the campus working out what role each of them will play. Everyone knows during college fests every college tries to outdo the other in all events.
Our students worked hard, practicing for the various sports and preparing questions as well as judging patterns for final days. There was a good amount of colleges that participated which gave us the opportunity to interact with the students from other colleges.
The event was inaugurated by Ms Bharathi who was a cross country runner has also represented India in many international events. This fest was conducted by the first year and second year students.
Kreeda is all about sports and Shresta is about technicals.Shresta was based on technicals and we had many participants stepping forward to show their interests in what they wanted to specialise in which we had front office, housekeeping, Service and production. Institute of Hotel Management won the overall trophy for Shresta went to IHM Bangalore.
Kreeda was about sports, we had a lot of participants gushing in to show their love for sports we had kabaddi, cricket, football, badminton and basketball. The all-round trophy was given to our very own BBA-HEM department of PES University
